Changing or Canceling a Leave Request

First step, check the "status" of your leave request:
- "Unsubmitted" or "Awaiting Approval" - raise Payroll ticket with the details of the leave entry, and what you want to change it to (e.g. new dates, different leave type, etc). If you want to just cancel it rather than amend it, check the steps below in blue.
- For any other status, email Payroll and request the leave be cancelled, then you will need to cancel the leave request and submit a new request for the correct dates.

Lodge a cancel request
- Open the leave request by selecting the Number drop down and double clicking the request (figure 1, below)
- Click the drop down next to the Clear button, and select "Cancel" (figure 2, below)
- If you get an error when trying to cancel, please email payroll@tract.net.au to advise.
- If you do not get an error, your cancel request has been sent to your Leave Approver, please let them know to expect it and follow up if you have not received an approval email for your cancelation.
Note:
- If your request status is: Awaiting Approval, you can cancel this yourself using the instructions above.
- If your request status is: Approved, you will be unable to cancel this yourself, please email payroll@tract.net.au with the details of which request you wish to cancel. Should you wish to request new leave dates, you must submit a new leave request.”
- If your request status is: Complete, you will be unable to cancel this yourself, please email payroll@tract.net.au with the details of which request you wish to cancel, and please advise which dates you will be requesting instead (if any).”
